about
The heart of this song is in it’s vulnerability. Trying to steer away from a typical love song, came this song about being terrified of growing up and fearing of all the inevitable painful moments in life. Most of the song was written on a small parlor guitar while driving across the Moab desert. Alex and I finished the last line of the song in time to try it out at the show later that night.
